I’m Martin the owner of McFly’s Exterior Cleaning. I provide dependable exterior-cleaning services for homes, businesses and managed properties across York, North Yorkshire and the East Riding.

FROM A PASSION FOR OUTDOOR WORK TO A BUSINESS BUILT ON SERVICE.
I established McFly’s Exterior Cleaning five years ago after a career in sales and social care. Although exterior cleaning was a new professional direction, pressure washing and improving outdoor spaces had already been a genuine interest of mine for years.
I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors, working practically and seeing the visible difference that determined effort can make. Turning that enthusiasm into my own business felt like a natural step.
My previous career taught me the importance of listening, communicating clearly and building strong working relationships. I have a qualification in counselling skills and have previously received a customer-service award—experience that continues to shape how I treat every customer today.
For me, professional exterior cleaning is about more than the finished surface. It’s also about being dependable, respecting the property and making the entire experience straightforward from the first conversation to the completed job.
